 Dropping in today with some client love. It’s that time of year! The weather is amazing and everyone is out and about ready to be seen! Proms, weddings, graduations, I’m taking on all of the above this spring. Playing apart in people making memories is the best part of makeup artistry. When you look good, you feel good and everyone deserves a day to be a princess. I love being able to use my favorite products on others and show them how they come to life!!

Hopping Into Spring 2017 🐰🌸

     Happy Spring Time! April showers, May flowers people! Spring is finally here. I survived my first winter in a couple years and boy am I so glad that is over. Now back to what I relate to, amazing weather. With new weather comes a new wardrobe right? Exactly. With new weather also should come a cosmetic wardrobe revamp! Tuck the heavy smokey eye back in the closet until fall, Spring/ Summer 2017 is all about an effortless glow and “no makeup makeup.”  

   Yesterday, I got the opportunity to attend Spring Cosmetic Training 2017 for the North Eastern Region. Holy cow it was amazing! Anastasia Beverly Hills, Smashbox, Urban Decay, & Bare Minerals were apart of this springs training focus and I couldn’t be more excited to share with you both some new goodies from all the brands as well as some old favorites that will play into the seasons “no makeup makeup” look! 

  I recently worked on the set of a shoot for a boutique store launch (Dear Diary Pittsburgh,PA)  set to open this weekend in Pittsburgh, PA Southside area. For this particular scene we used some of the newly released products to create a look of minimal makeup with a radiant glow. Dear Diary is set to have their soft opening this Saturday (April 15th doors opening @ 12:00 PM. The Month Of L❤️ve: Client Love 💞💜

  Happy post Valentine’s Day! I hope everyone enjoyed their day of love. Spreading kindness is so important. Making people feel good comes with the territory as an artist of any type. The goal is to always enhance the natural beauty that every single client has. Our motto is always “If you look good, you feel good!” 

   Since my theme for the month at The Beauty Of Blogging is “The Month Of Love” I just want to take the time to express my deepest love for all of my clients! Since relocating to a new city my client base has grown over just a matter of 5 months and I couldn’t be more grateful! You guys rock! This weekend I worked with some babes headed to each of their schools’ Winter Formal dance. 

   I have so much fun every time a new or existing client sits down with me. Especially teens. They keep me constantly doing something different & unique to their personal style.      

    Can’t forget about product! For each look I used products from the following lines:        Philosophy for skincare prep, Urban Decay for the face, Smashbox for the face, Anastasia and Benefit for brows, Urban Decay for lips, Anastasia & Too Faced for highlighting, Bare Minerals & Tarte for cheeks. Just to name a few!

Urban Decay Week💜💕

    This week at Urban Decay (Pittsburgh) it is Urban Decay week! A full week of festivities celebrating cosmetics #1 selling L’Oréal brand.(For those of you who don’t know, L’Oréal owns Urban Decay as well as some of your other favorites.) Before & After using all Urban Decay product. 2/6/2017.

   We kicked the week off with a denim down day, leather and lace, and think pink day. All while the focus of sales being to push all Urban Decay products with every single sale! 

   Today was a fun day! We did some face sheets. Face sheets are not only fun for makeup artist, but they great practice on days when we aren’t booked back to back appointments. They also serve as an example to guest, giving them inspiration for looks they wish to create. 

   Pittsburgh, PA : This Saturday, February 11th come out to Urban Decay South Hills Village. My team and I will be doing makeovers and giving you first looks at all new Urban Decay products!!

The Month Of Love ❤️💕

  It’s February! Even though I’m a summer soul, February is one of my all time favorite winter months. The month of February just screams glitz and glam to me. I can feel the love in the air ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.

  Since it is all about love, this month I will feature products, cosmetic lines and inspiration that my clients & I are head over heels about! 

 Today my clients were all about brows. They all wanted tame, natural looking eyebrows, so today’s “Products I Love” goes to Benefit Cosmetics.

Beverly Hills, Brows

Some of the best brow products I’ve used on clients and myself come from the Anastasia Beverly Hills line. From brow powders to pomades, there is a product texture and a color for everyone!

 My personal favorite, The Perfect Brow Pencil, is what I use to shape and fill in brows. It isdouble ended, product on one side, spoolie brush on the other. The combination of the two makes it easy to fill in and blend as you go using solely one product. Once I have gone through shaping and blending the brows, it’s time to clean up and highlight. 

 To both clean up and highlight I use the Anastasia Pro Highlighter pencil. The pencil comes in shades : Base 1, Base 2, and Base 3. All are different shades of nude that I run underneath the brow shape and blend. This creates a clean, freshly waxed looking eyebrow while giving the brow a beautiful glow and highlight. 

On my client below, I used: Perfect Brow Pencil in medium brown, and Pro Highlighter pencil in Base 2 to create a clean flawless brow.
